Charcoal or light grey could have been a nice middle ground, but not offered for 2014.
Agree 100% about charcoal or light grey. Twenty years of grey leather in an Acura, and it showed NOTHING.

The light frost beige was also available on the Citadel. Wouldn't have been my first choice, but it was the best option for a hot climate. Roof interior is light, not black like with the tan. Optical illusion, but made the interior feel brighter and more airy. We paired it with the billet silver and were pleasantly surprised. IMHO it might not be the perfect blend, but it certainly doesn't clash. Of the few people who've seen the car, nobody has opened the door and let a "whoa, yuck" escape.

My wife's reaction was much the same "boy is that, um, 'tan'". She did not really care for it. I am OK with it, but as others have said, the tan interior comes with a black headliner for '14, and that is something I do not want.

I do prefer the light frost beige color though. I could have lived with the tan if it had a light headliner. (The '13s actually have a light headliner with the tan interior I believe.)

Re: Thought on tan interior?

I really like that the light frost has the light headliner. I think that plus the sunroof will give it the airiness my wife like in the Acadia with the medial pane roof.

Her current van is all light ran, but I really like the darker carpeting in the Durango. I don't think it will show wear and dirt the way the van floor does.

I could not have done a black ceiling car. Bec would have hated it.
