I really like the way lighted sills look but no one makes it for the Durango. I did find wireless sills called lightsteps and they can do custom stuff. Company names things like that. I might do durango up front my name or my company in the back. Battery in them is easily replaceable. The top is seamless because batteries go in the bottom and no wire running needed. Seems like a solid option albeit a little more expensive.

I'll probably make the appointment for Tuesday Morning....might work out that you'll be taking delivery at that time. If not, we'll have to arrange a photo-shoot.
Joey, I've enjoyed your review and comments thus far and hope to reply to some of your thoughts shortly. In the meantime, may I ask where you found the pedal kit you ordered...Mopar? My H thinks I'm crazy but that is what I would like to consider next....on the inside, anyway
Edit....think I've read the answer. Should have read to the end of the thread before jumping in. The rear sill guards are almost silly, but I like the front. Oh, and I would have enjoyed the battery operated lighted option too. Will console myself with $$ saved.

Does this look similar to the pedal kit you ordered? Any concern about these being slippery with wet or smooth soles?

Yup...that's it. Just picked them up today...came with the most crude illustrations / instructions you could imagine. The gas pedal looks like it "slips over" the existing one, but for the brake, you remove the current pedal cover and install the new one.

Have not installed them yet (will try tonight), and will give feedback about pedal feel once I install them and drive for a day or so.

Yeah...the rear sill guards are kinda smallish. Hopefully it will give the kids something to at least aim for when stepping in. Will have to make a judgement call as to where exactly on the sill to place it....

don't tell them what you're doing, but take them for a quick spin and watch when they get in the car. Look where they step. If you make it weird they may alter their behavior.

I was going to suggest you let them walk through some mud first (well, better than ink or paint) but I think Gtaz has the better idea.

Re: Thoughts on my Granite D Citadel with Blu-Ray

Good advice indeed...I do wonder if they would step in different places if they are getting in the second row vs. the third row. (Or getting in vs. Getting out for that matter....)

Get a second set and use the Durango ones in back...

Problem solved, expensively though.

Other option is no kids allowed.

Thought about that...but actually, the rear door sill is not "flat" for the entire length of the front door dill guards...so I'm guessing even if I applied it that way...they wouldn't last too long.

As we mentioned earlier in this thread, nothing beats a kids smile!
