Looks like I will be ordering a 14 Black Durango R/T and trading in my '10 Jeep SRT. I wanted a '14 Jeep SRT but need to start college funds for my kids, etc.
Plan is to do a Mopar theme Durango. Already have talked to Katzkin about an interior swap. Would love to do the brembo swap and power coat them Mopar Blue.
Sad that my 8 year SRT run will be over but need to put family first.
First you say you want to save, then you say you want to spend on different seat covers and other modifications.....
If you are not, you will never regret being debt free, rather than a debt slave. Yes, my wife and I are completely debt free, 56 & 51, own our home, and own 13 rental houses. We buy vehicles with cash (great fun, as the dealership personnel do not believe it until I had them the checks). I was a debt slave when younger, but that was stupid.
Immo, anything else you can share about your interior vision? I'm replacing the cloth SXT (Rallye) with Katzkin leather at the dealer. My interior is gray. I think a black & blue combination would look good along with the crystal granite exterior. I've sent your two mopar themed pics over to my dealer as a color scheme I'm considering. Hope you don't mind!
Still trying to find a scheme that will add a little color to my granite monotone exterior and gray interior. Pretty certain I will start with the black leather base rather than gray. The blue adds a nice pop and isn't typically seen in interiors.
Knowing how creative I am, I'm much more apt to "emulate" a style than come up with my own
Are you ordering a Durango or did you find one in dealer stock? I have a granite coming and am really looking forward to seeing that color on the Durango.
Hope the Durango can swim or will float. An emergency flash flood warning just came blasting out of my iPhone. Was going to affectionately refer to her as The Beast ( providing, with the Hemi, she is), but now I'm considering Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Meant to finish with......after dinging up this rental perhaps we will search for an alternate route back with the Durango. A little test for the nav, perhaps.
