Anyone have any idea if you can mount front tow hooks on the Durango (or hell, a brush guard)?

I poked around the front fascia a bit and it doesn't look like it lends itself to either of these options without the use of a sawsall...

The first subframe crossmember is square and directly below the radiator. You'd need to remove the plastic shield to see if there's any good mounting points. Not sure it's big enough to be rated for tow hooks but a brush guard looks possible.

Rocky Road makes a front cross member for the Grand Cherokee I'm not sure if the cross members are the same.

I installed it on my 2012 GC and it is a lot stronger then stock (still have my stock lying around so when I get my Durango I'll compare them)

If they are the same, I would definitly buy one for the D and install a brush guard on it with some tow hooks

Thanks gents.

I can almost hear the woman now, "Honey, why is the car in pieces in the garage and WHY do you have a saw in your hand?"
