Re: Two Dissapointments but mostly positive

Well the Dee Zee boards fit the 2014, there is a wire loom on the passenger side front that needs to be moved and put back.

The only issue I ran into was trying to get the front closer to the body for my taste, rear is less than a finger width away while the front I could stick my hand in. So started to modify the slotted holes to get it closer.

In the process I stripped out the small aluminum tab they have for a front mount. The good thing to note about this is that Dee Zee customer service is great and is sending me some new hardware free of charge

You have an R/T? Some reports are that aftermarket boards are fitting fine on the non-R/T models, but the R/Ts are running into trouble.

I'm sure it'll fit fine. I downloaded the instructions as there are pictures that I can use to compare with the underside of my 2014 R/T. If everything looks good, I'll be ordering and updating (hopefully with pics of the running boards mounted on my D). I don't really care too much if they stick out. That's part of the reason I want them. Hopefully will help protect a little big from door dings. Primary reason for getting them though is that when it snows, we want something substantial to smack our boots against that isn't the plastic body molding at the bottom of the D. Especially since it feels rather flimsy.

Mine is a Limited. I don't mind them sticking out but want a nice tucked in look
