Great find on the 3rd row, we all owe you. Did you order this yet?

Side note, I just realized tonight that the pattern on the Mopar mats mimics the pattern in the Durango grill, thought it was pretty cool and that I'd share.

you'll have to let us see how they look! So far, I like the x-act liners you got better than the weathertechs which I was leaning towards. I like the soft rubber which is what I have now. I'd like a convertible cargo area liner that is flexible or rolls up partly so whether the seats are up or down you are protected but don't have to switch out a mat each time.

Re: WeatherTech floor liners - they need more requests

Has anyone put on the mopar splash guards? Or others?
How do they look?
I haven't been able to find any pics that have them.

I have the Dodge splash guards. I think the look good and they make a big difference in the amount of crud that gets kicked up onto the bottom of your doors.

I just posted pics in another thread and I don't want to hijack this one so here's the link: 2014 Durango Questions & Observations

Thanks. looks good.

I picked up some of the mopar floor mats today. I like the way they look, but the second row mats are just a little off. Plus they do not cover the hump. I have the captains seats in second row so that's not that big of a deal, and the fit is very close in the second row otherwise. I like the material and the branding and the fronts fit like a glove.

I still haven't found a suitable cargo mat. I want something that will fit the smaller area with the third row up, but folds out with the third row down. I think the MDX has something like that. But the mopar one seems to just cover the smaller area.

Didn't get the splash guards since I was a 'walk-in' and don't really want to install myself. From what I've read online about other peoples experiences I can tell I'd just stress myself out for little gain.

Re: WeatherTech floor liners - they need more requests

The 3rd row mat just arrived. A little disappointed.

The finish is a bit more toward the "plastic" side and less toward the rubber side. The mat is thick and would appear to be very durable. Unfortunately, the fit is only "OK". It's definitely made to fit around the second row captains chairs and covers the majority of the area just fine. However, the fit is not ideal for the full console. The OEM carpet mat covers the floor all the up to the back of console. This mat falls a couple inches short. (See pic.) This area is underneath the overhang of the rear console..and happens to be where I think many 3rd row occupants would put their inside foot.

Finally, as I suspected, the repeating circular "well" pattern will be fine for the third row, but I would NOT want these mats in either of the front two rows. The pattern combined with the lack of any border gives a "cheap" look to the mat that does not compliment the Durango well.

In the end...if the fit were perfect, the finish would be "good enough" for third row use. My search for a 3rd row mat would be over.

However, I am still hopeful for a better 3rd row solution though and will be on the lookout for one. For $40, I'll keep these mats through this winter though while my search continues.

Re: WeatherTech floor liners - they need more requests

Was looking for a cargo mat/carpet to cover cargo area with third row folded down. I am leaning toward a carpeted one and came across Lloyd Mats Lloyd custom fit automobile floor mats . Any one try these or know how they fit. Looks like you can customize as well.

Re: WeatherTech floor liners - they need more requests

The 3rd row floor mat I bought above is a Lloyds mat. (Rubbertite). Fit is good except under the console as noted. . I would expect the fit of the cargo mat to be good...have no idea on the quality of the carpet though. The rubbertite material is more closer to a plastic than rubber.

Has anybody found a fitting mat for the cargo area behind the third row only? For those of you who don't know this already, the Mopar one is a no-go.

I ordered the Mopar one, and when it came in, I realized it was too deep (front to back) and not wide enough (left to right). Nowhere close!

Further, the shape doesn't even remotely resemble the shape of the cargo area. Comical that it actually says "Durango" on the mat!

On another note, I installed the WeatherTechs in the front and second rows. Not bad fit. Nice coverage, but got a little bit of the Laurel factor going on on my driver side--just like hers, but maybe not quite as extreme. I may try a blow dryer.

I do wish the WeatherTechs had a little more rubber feel and a little less plastic. In wet weather, I do notice a little foot slippage.
