Thanks, I asked that and they said probably but there's a chance Dodge might have moved or changed the retainer clips which would mean new mats for the 2014.
I would assume its the same as the 14' GC....which are the same as the 13' GC. Just a quick trip to a dealer with a 13' Durango would solve this for you real quick!
Arrrrrrr, I can't take it. I'm going to order the '13 mats and be the guinea pig. I always keep my dirty softball bag and golf clubs in the car so I just don't want to wait anymore. I'll of course let everyone know how they fit.
At the risk of sounding stupid(er), with the softball bag and clubs, I presume you ordered a cargo liner too? I really need one, will seldom use the third row, and am thinking about ordering one that go up to the back of the second row.
the worst it could be would be you have two hooks where the 11-12 Durango had 1. The floor pans are the same...nothing changed there as confirmed by engineers and plant workers.
I got my 2013 mats installed. The front and second row mats fit just fine with the right contours. However, the rear cargo mat is not perfect. I ordered the one for the 2nd row on back. It fits but it's not flush with the sides on the front half, there's about a 2 inch gap between the sides. It's usable but not the custom fit I'm used to from WeatherTech. I don't know if there was a change in interior width from the '13 to '14 or the mats fit the '13 models in the same manner.
I ordered the 2013 cargo liner for my 2014 and it fits perfectly. I will get the floor mats before the snow flies... I will also put in a request to hopefully speed up the process.
Does it fit better than this pic along the sides? Mine is a couple inches from the side where the 3rd row is. Assuming you ordered the 2nd row back cargo liner.
I bit the bullet and ordered the Weathertech cargo liner. Agree it isn't the best fit on the sides. Bigger issue is flatness on right side close to the liftgate. Left side has distance lip. Spills on right side would not be contained. Have sent pics to customer service, but might send this back regardless.
I ordered the Husky liners as I couldn't stand not knowing if they were any better. They are not, I'm returning them. They have a plastic sheen to them and the tan color I got looked more like olive. They also feel a little thinner. They provided complete coverage of the dead pedal but that's about all they had going for it. The cargo mat was wider than weathertech which I liked but it seemed too long and I could feel resistance closing the tailgate as it hit the mat.
I did read some good things about the x-acts for the Jeep Grand Cherokee, and I do prefer a liner that is not quite has rigid / hard plastic. I'm thinking of ordering the X-acts...
I didn't order the cargo area bit though. Seemed like an after thought, you either get a big sucker that assumes the back row is down, or a tiny one assuming the backrow is up.
Weathertech had a cargo mat for the MB GL 450 that was made of 2 pieces.
a small one you leave in the car always, and a large one that connects to it when 3rd row is down.
The latter fits perfectly in my GC so I think it will fit in the Durango (my 14 durango is on order) not sure they still make this ......
Because I am going to be driving to a place that may be a little muddy this weekend and didn't want to wait for weather tech. I went to my dealer who happened to have 2013 mopar slush mats in stock (Koons in VA). I will likely try out weather tech too but like I said I needed these yesterday. Anyway the fit is really good. The 3rd row is really only for the 40/60 bench so I just got front and second row so far. I really love how they say Durango on them, but I wish they said it in red. Maybe this is something I can do as a project. Very happy with these mats in the first half hour I've had them, lol.
Okay this is a little off topic, but in the mat pics I just posted I think I can actually see the light on the passenger side hanging down. What the ???
Just gotta look upside down and see if it's mounted properly. I'll try and peek at ours tomorrow.
In some ways the MOPAR mats look like a better fit than the Weathertechs up front. I do like how the Weathertech covers the middle. We have the captains/console too, but nice to have that section protected.
I have to wonder, based on the descriptions on the box that you described if they're (Weathertech) using a mat more properly designed for the JGC (larger market there) for the much smaller Durango market rather than doing the full, custom fit they advertise.
Laurel, nice sill plates. Can we get another shot or two of those?
So--a bit of a loaded question here, but do we have any sort of consensus yet regarding Husky X-Act Contour vs Weathertech DigitalFit in the first two rows?
Any known solutions for the third row in Ds with captains chair second rows?
V--how are the Weathertechs working out?
Laurel--any improvement on that side misfit issue?
Any others out there who have had issues like Laurel?

Working out pretty good. 1st & 2nd row have perfect fits but I wish the 1st row had a little more coverage front and back. I did order the Husky weather beater and it had better coverage front/back but returned them as I didn't like the plastic like material and the tan color was off, more like olive. Looks like the X-Act Contour has the same rubberized material as WeatherTech but it only comes in black. I'll probably give those a shot if they ever come out with tan.
Seem to fit pretty nicely for the most part. the only area of misalignment is, I have the opposite issue as Laurel, my passenger side fit is slightly off.
I have a Bench as opposed to the captains chairs in the second row, so the 3rd row covers work nicely.
This is what concerns me--wondering if I'll get a set that was made correctly or one that wasn't. Seems to be luck of the draw, huh? Did you ever call Weathertech and complain? Laurel--how about you--I don't recall you mentioning anything other than perhaps a conversation you had with them about the cargo liner fit. Any resolution on your driver's mat fit whatsoever?
I have a black interior, so color if wanted black. I had purchased the mopar slush mats for a weekend trip because my dealer had them (they were only $85) and I hadn't purchased the weathertechs yet. I had every intention of ordering weathertechs, but after putting in the Mopars and driving around, I realized I really liked them. The front mats say Durango which I like, and the fit is great along with a nice non smelling rubber. They don't go up on the side walls as much as the techs, but I don't see that as being an issue for me. Only issue is Mopar only makes a 3rd row option for the bench. So I may have to mix it up back there, but it will rarely be used so I'm not overly concerned. The Mopars also do not go over the hump in the second row, again, not an issue for me as people will not be climbing to the back so much. And I'd probably use the lever anyway.
I have the Dodge splash guards. I think the look good and they make a big difference in the amount of crud that gets kicked up onto the bottom of your doors.
