2014 Altitude biggest tires with spacers

Hey everyone. I am a new JGC owner as of a few months ago. I picked up a 2014 White Altitude. This is my first jeep and am loving it.

I want to get 1.25" or 1.5" bora spacers. Leaning towards 1.25" if I get wider tires. I'm opting to keep the stock 20" wheels mainly because it's a lease, but I do plan on purchasing after. Just wondering what the biggest tire size I could go with using the spacers? I've seen some people saying 275/60/20 without spacers or mods needed.

I would like the wheels and tires to stick out a little, but nothing crazy. I mostly drive on pavement, but want to start doing light trails. I live in MN and now that we've got snow on the ground, I'm interested in getting better all season/all terrain tires.

Thanks for any recommendations/suggestions.

Re: 2014 Altitude biggest tires with spacers

So I have ordered some Bora 1.25" hub centric spacers from Wheel Adapters, Wheel Spacers, Hub Rings, and much more! | Motorsport Tech. All 4 for $125 shipped, which is a lot better price than I was expecting since they advertise $50 each. I love the wide stance on jeeps.

Anyway, as stated above, I am also wanting to replace the factory goodyear fortera tires. Pretty sold on the Nitto Tera Grappler's. I was wondering now that I will have spacers on the jeep, if I could fit a 275/60/20 vs 275/55/20 tires with the extra space? Would it be pointless to get the extra height for more money?

I do not have any lift kit on jeep currently. Probably will do a RRO leveling kit and/or RRO 2" lift sometime down the road.

Will more than likely put some splash guards on jeep to prevent debris from scratching paint.

Thanks for looking and any feedback.

The most popular sizes people go with without lifting are 275/55/20 or 285/50/20.
