Question 265/70/R17 or 285/65/R17 on a WK??...Please need some advice

Hello Everyone,

As mentioned on a previous thread, I will be using a 2.125" RR lift and 1.5" Spidertrax on a R17 Mamba MR1/+6 mm offset wheels with these tires.
However, on Bridgestone REVO I only find 285/65/R17 and on Yokohama GEOLANDAR the 265/70/R17.
I would like to stay away from doing the pinch weld mod if possible.
Any comment/suggestion will be highly appreciated since I need to order the set of tires this week.
Thanks.

I'm pretty sure you'll need to do the pinch weld regardless. I needed to w 255/70/17s and now have 265s. I would do it anyways.
