56.4 mm vs 25 mm offset

Stock offset on a WK2 is 56.4. Tire calculator shows an 18x9 wheel with 25 mm offset will stick out 1.236 inches more. Might look better but anyone know if the 265 60 18 stock tire will rub? Any other handling issues? Seems like it would be more stable on trails but also throw more mud on the truck.

Re: 56.4 mm vs 25 mm offset

There are several members in the WK2 forum with larger than stock rubber, a search will give you some ideas and photos. As you suggest, the wider footprint looks nice and perhaps gives a more aggressive stance for handling. Stock 56.4 also tucks in the WK2 wells a bit so there's enough room for a bit less offset anyways.
