I'm looking to get a set of niche milans 22x10 on a stock 2014 jeep grand cherokee. I know that the 22x10 will fit but does anyone know if 285 35 22 will have amy rubbing issues. The stock tire size is 265 40 20
I ran 22x9.5's on my 2014 WK2 all last summer with 285/45/22 Nitto Dune grapplers.(pretty aggressive for the street) and they did drive nice...but they are 32" Tires...so they rub a slight bit when you turn hard and hit a bump.
If you decide to do 22's you'll need to make sure you get a lower profile like the 285/40/22 or even the 285/35/22 if you want NO rubbing.

I ran 22x10 all the way around. and yes i would go down to 9's in the front and even maybe 9.5's in the back.
Always midful of extra rotating mass when you can just offset a lower width wheel and get a very similiar look.
I have a 4x2 as well.
I plan on getting the xo brand Tokyo wheel 22"x 10.5" +38 offset dimension for my 2014 GC. Some of you say that the tire size 285/40r/22 should be fine without any problem rubbing. What if I decide getting 305/40r/22? I want to go a lil thicker and possibly have a smoother ride. What is everyone's opinion?
I'm running 305/35/22 and rub slightly over large dips in the rear but I am lowered on road magnets and my rear shocks are blown out so that doesn't help.
How do you guys feel about running 285 45 22 on the 22X9 rims? I've only read a couple things about people running that size tire. Also read something about 40mm offset may help with no rub on that. Nothing aggressive, Just a tire that can handle the heat and the rain
