Re: Best AT Tires on budget

The Nitto Terra Grappler AT is available in many sizes and is usually pretty cheap compared to other brands and performs well in all conditions. The other typically cheaper tire is the General Grabber AT which is also snow flake rated for traction and stopping in severe winter weather like snow tires and has better overall ratings then 90% of other AT tires according to surveys on tirerack.com. The firestone destination at is another good option as well as the hancook dynapro atm but i dont think those have as long of a tread life as some of these others.

Re: Best AT Tires on budget

I have General Grabber AT2 on my Avalanche and they handled great in the snow. When I bought them from Tire rack a year ago they had a better performance rating than BFG AT for half the price.

Re: Best AT Tires on budget

My Firestone Destination AT's have over 40k on them and they have lots of tread life left; the thin little sipes are all still visible, still smooth and quiet and handle well.
