Re: Cooper DISCOVERER A/T3

I am. I've put around 3000 miles on them since having them put on back in the beginning of October. I checked them out online and they got good reviews, and I like the look of the tread, so I went with them. Haven't gotten to play around with them too much, only had about 3 inches of snow so far, but good traction there. I don't off-road (at least, haven't yet), but according to the reviews they are supposed to be good. Consumer Reports rates them pretty high as well.

Re: Cooper DISCOVERER A/T3

I am running these in 265/70R17 and they are great. Both on road and off they pull me through everything I have thrown at them so far.

Re: Cooper DISCOVERER A/T3

Ive heard nothing but good things about them but the $$ is really high. I think the stock 245/65/17 is about $200 each.

Re: Cooper DISCOVERER A/T3

So I got some money for Christmas and am going to try these tires. I really like the looks and they are a great price. I have a 2in rc lift and want to get the tallest tire i can, but I live downtown and need every bit of my turning radius so my question is, with this tread will I be good with 265/70-17 and cutting the bolt?

Re: Cooper DISCOVERER A/T3

Hey guys so just an update. I ended up buying a set of 265/70-17 AT3's yesterday and let me just say I have not seen any picture that really shows how aggressive these tires actually are. They look great and are not loud at all. I ended up using a one inch spacer up front and they fit perfectly, no bolt cutting, no pinch weld, and the best no rubbing. The tires also Handel extremely well from what I have seen so far. Def recommend this tire, especially if on a budget. I got mine for $146 a tire. I'll post up pics soon, and I'm going to start a build thread soon, so keep your eyes out!!

Re: Cooper DISCOVERER A/T3

They look great be sure to let us know how you like them and take them out andto test them and see how they perform. These are deff on my list of tires I'm going to consider buying in the spring when I take my snows off.

Re: Cooper DISCOVERER A/T3

I def will. Just a quick update though, I went up skiing this morning and the tires handled extremely well, not much on the roads to test it with, but i actually dove past a couple that was stuck and was able to pull them out. Made me pretty proad of my new purchase!! ha. No slipping what so ever. Distance/offroad and real snow reviews to come.

Re: Cooper DISCOVERER A/T3

Wow, you got a deal! I paid around $185/tire after a rebate for mine, and based on what I was finding around here I thought I was getting a deal.

We still have not had any snow for me to play around in. North Dakota without snow...we were at 60 degrees yesterday...it is just not right! I do like them down the highway, not a lot of noise at all for an A/T. Did hit some prairie trails and water while deer hunting and didn't have any issue, but still nothing that truly tests them.
