I posted the same thing in patriot/compass so I apologize for a double post I just feel like this is where the post could receive more recognition.

So I have a black 2015 patriot high altitude edition. I know some say the black on black look is played out and I somewhat agree but there are not many other options with black exterior. I'm torn between what to do and these are some of my ideas/options. FEEDBACK GREATLY APPRECIATED !!

1. Powder coat the current OEM wheels a gloss black. Haven't had a quote but I've seen a place around the Chicago area for about 150 a ride or 600 for a set.

2. Purchase the OEM altitude wheels that are the 5 spoke gloss black wheels for just about the same price and plop them right in the stock tires. I do like the rim design better than my current rims.

3. Plasti-dip. Scares the hell outta me. Last option.

If you can get a set of OEM Altitude wheels for roughly the same price as powdercoating your current wheels then that sounds like your best option.

That way you can swap them out for your current wheels if you feel a need to in the winter.
