Rims width on WK2

I have read plenty of themes here and canīt find clear reply to my question. I would like to buy a new 18" rims for my WK2 2015 (will be lifted by RRO 2,5") and I have found the best "problemsfree" rim width is 8,5". But there is small range of rims what to choice. If I can buy 18X9 rims, there is plenty what to buy and be happy. Can somebody tell me if the 9" width is ok or not? I plan to buy 18x9 rim with ET 25-30 (this ET will be probably still legal in my country) and tires 275/65/18, but more happy if there will be possible wider tires (285 or 295). I found maximum is till 33" tire. Thanks for advice.

9" width should be fine. Per my google search, stock rims on all WK2 models are 8" wide with the exception of the SRT which are 10" wide. The "ideal" tire width for a 275mm tire is 10"-10.5" wide, but I've seen several threads that show 275mm tires fitting fine on stock 8" rims. I imagine if those tires fit fine for other people then a larger rim size won't matter. Google "rim width tire size calculator" and look at the images for rim/tire size charts.
