TPM Sensor

Does anyone know if the tire pressure monitor sensors are reusable. Can I take them off one set of rims and put them on another? Or do I have to buy a new set.
Thanks!

Re: TPM Sensor

You can remove them from one set of wheels and install them in another set of wheels. If you do this, we recommend purchasing a set of rebuild kits for your TPMS sensors. The rebuild kits include some new rubber grommets, a new valve core, valve caps and a threaded valve sleeve and/or new valve stem depending on the type of sensor it is. These run $3-6.00 each typically.
