TPMS # 68241067AB is a new part number for my 2015 JGC and replaces part #56029398AB.

Are these two sensors interchangeable/compatible with each other?

I have read some members having problems where others say the old part number works just fine.

I have 20 inch wheels I want to put snow tires on and need sensors.

Anyone have 2015 GC 20 inch wheels they have broken down and checked the part number on these sensors?

Thanks for the help!

I have 3 tire sets total (don't ask) 2 x 2014 and 1 x 2015. one of the 2014's does not work on my 2015. can post next week which PN# the not working is, pulling one tire to find out.

I know the working 2014 tpms that my 2015 sees fine is 56029398AB for sure.

Not sure if the Jeep can keep track of more than 2 sets of tires, maybe thats's my problem with set #3

100% interchangeable and compatible. They can even be mixed on the same vehicle.

Old - 56029398AB (black) is a Schrader WAL I

New - 68241067AB (gray) is a Schrader WAL II

(WAL = "Wireless auto-locate")

Went ahead and purchased the OEM #68241067AB for my 2015 Grand Cherokee Overland. They were expensive, $80.00 a piece at the dealer but had a 2 year warranty. Had these installed in extra set of spare wheels with snow tires. As soon as the new wheels were installed I simply started the vehicle and the sensors were immediately recognized, didn't even have to drive any miles. I know this because of the difference in tire pressure from one set of rims to the other.

Thanks, but now I'm a bit confuse because I have a 20"rim stock for my limited so I should have the tpms 56029398AB, but since I'm about to get the set8 spider monkeys (which are also 20") don't know if I should buy the original tpms or the ones they recommend for the srt8 which are 56029400AE?
