Does anyone know what is a better option for wheel locks? I am between the mopar ones and gorilla locks. I have heard of some fitment issues on the mopar ones.. This would be for a set of 2013 overlands. Thanks in advance for the feedback!
I much prefer the Gorilla... they aren't the only aftermarket ones out there... ask a couple local tire/wheel dealers what they use when replacing standard lugs.
They come in various sizes, as well as colors, so make sure you have the dimensions correct, or see a local tire/wheel dealer to make sure they will fit.
They may have them in stock and would be willing to install one to make sure.
Gorilla isn't the only maker of heavier duty aftermarket lugs... so don't just ask about Gorilla... ask about locking lugs.
I use mine in aftermarket wheels because I like black rims, black bolts, etc. so I would not want to mislead you. They do seem to fit the factory 18 inch overland rims, but since those are silver, I use factories on those.
Check local dealers. You might be able to save money buying online, but they are pretty cheap... a good dealer would be aware of which ones are multipart and which are very solid high grade steel, which are available as powder coat, etc.
Gold would look good with black, if you are not into monochrome...
yea I have 20 inch wheels on summit and they work fine. I think they have them in black also. I tried a few types before I settled on the 96641C. the stock mopar ones are ugly as dirt don't get those ones
They are a good investment to prevent the casual opportunist type thief which is all I am tying to do. The professional types will get em if they want them
