WK2 SRT winter wheels

I'm preparing my winter kit in advance.

Has anyone used the SpiderMonkey replicas in 20x10?

And, which tires are you using, to get a good sidewall and 690 revs per mile?

Thanks
Ollie

don't worry about Revs per mile your looking WAY too far into this.

They sell Winter tires in our Stock size, you can also do 295/40/20

any winter tire will work for ya.

Re: WK2 SRT winter wheels

I will, forever and always, worry about revs per mile.

Also, 295-40-20 is a smaller tire outer diameter than original. This has multiple adverse effects, not only for winter but in general.
1. it lowers the vehicle
2. much higher fuel consumption
3. less protection on the wheels
--3.1 winter time is worse
4. it looks awful

If anything, i want a slightly higher revolution rate per mile.

The dilemma, now is that all the cheap wheels I can find are 20x9. So, I might have to go slightly narrower and would love more sidewall.

During winter, up here in Montreal, i spend most of it in the snow around the Adirondaks and Green Mountains. Not looking for a low-profile tire at all.

I run 285/50R20 Blizzaks on a 20x9.
Good ride/look and plenty of rim protection.

Re: WK2 SRT winter wheels

Great thread, BTW. Regardless of what a lot of folks say, I bought this 2015 SRT to drive in the summer and the winter. I am looking for a set of inexpensive wheels and a set of winter tires that will work for light four-wheeling.
I was told all I need is steel rims and snow tires to match as long as they fit!

Please advise.

Re: WK2 SRT winter wheels

Lacking time, I finally opted for a set Pirelli winter tires in the OEM dimensions and on the original wheels.

It's working perfectly well. I'll surely take the time to find something different and fun for next winter.

I'm also lowered on the BWoody full suspension kit and it's an absolute charm, up here in Quebec.

Ditto for me and 2015 Overland for daily drive in winter snow.
