The P0452 is likely not related to the drivability issue you are describing as that relates to the natural leak vacuum detection circuit being stuck closed (an evap code).

A flashing CEL usually means there is a mis-fire condition - running it like that may destroy your cats.

P0522 is low oil pressure
P0300 is multiple cylinder misfire
P0339 is an intermittent crankshaft position sensor
P0642 is a reference voltage being low (the primary 5 volt)

Based on everything showing up at the same time, I would lean towards an electronics malfunction - maybe the PCM or battery related issue but those are just guesses.

I certainly wouldn't try and drive it like that and unless you are very comfortable with vehicle electronics, it may be a tough one to trouble shoot on your own...there is likely an order to test each of those codes that is important, that I don't know.

Good luck! Hopefully someone else can add to the discussion.

Re: 05 limited hemi help??????

i should be a little more specific the flashing cel and limp mode light (red lightning bolt)up my wife says she notices it acting up more when there is less than 1/4 tank.some times it starts bucking and you can hit the throttle and it will come out of it or it will just stall. had friend of mine who has a garage does not have a scan tool for this only till 03 he is also stumped

Like I said, the flashing check engine light is usually indicating a more serious problem than when it is simply lit - most often because of misfires that will cause permanent damage to the catalytic converters.

The lightning bolt, if I recall correctly, is indicating the fly-by-wire electronic throttle control has also detected a problem. This too can be either lit or flashing. If it is lit, it is usually still driveable. If it is flashing, you are going to experience driveability issues like elevated, rough, or erratic idling and engine stalling. It is not an indicator that the transmission is in limp home mode - this is indicated by the gear indicator staying in 3, regardless of the selected gear.

I'm no expert, but it sounds to me like your vehicles electronics are really acting up. Almost all of the codes you are reporting have to do with sensors malfunctioning and poor electrical conditions, with the remainder (like cylinder misfires) being a result of those electrical issues. I do not think the level of gas in the tank is related to these problems, and it is likely a coincidence.

Although I love to take care of most problems with my vehicle myself, this sounds like one of those cases where you will be better served taking it to a shop that can properly read and diagnose the codes. You have so many things going on, if you start replacing parts it could cost you a lot of money and time until you get the right one.

The one thing I would try myself is swapping out and/or testing the battery and checking the connection at the terminals - I doubt this is the cause, but it is an easy thing to do.

Re: 05 limited hemi help??????

Glad to hear things worked out, and it was a relatively simple solution!
