05 WK Blend Door Actuator Location

Can anyone tell me if the attached is a picture of the blend door actuator. I notice a ticking at start up and while i was changing my blower motor resistor i could feel the vibration on the square part at the top of the pic.

Yes that's it, there is one more below it as well. I replaced mine a few months back. You probably already figured that out by now, but this will at least help someone else.

Re: 05 WK Blend Door Actuator Location

This problem has risen with mine again, ha it three years ago and went away on its own. Now it's back... typically you should be able to get at it through the glove box, the heater core is what requires the dash to be removed.

Mine is so loud it's Rediculous

Loud clicking noise coming from behind the dash. Like a playing card in the spokes of a bicycle

Re: 05 WK Blend Door Actuator Location

I did get it out through the glove box and got a balding part number off of it. I can't find anything on the internet for the numbers I have. Does anyone have a valid part number for this actuator. I want to change it out ASAP, the noise is annoying.

Re: 05 WK Blend Door Actuator Location

Are these actuators the same as the blend doors? and if there are 5 then why do we all have the same one fail behind the glove box area?
