You can use the scantool as a scantool and nothing further, you cannot flash the modules as it pulls that information off the interwebz, its like 900 dollars to be able to pull codes, actuate things and reset modules.
Anyway, sorry to pull your thread off topic... No one can die in a flaming ball of jeep when it wont even start so the importance Chrysler of paying for this repair is through the floor I imagine. (at least from their perspective).
