Since yesterday the AC in my Hemi would randomly swich of and come on about 30 minutes later. The airbag warning light would come on with a warning ping and the aircon blower fan would stop. tha a/c light as well as the rear demister and the recirculate buttons lights would go of and nothing works.
What could be wrong?
Does this all happen at the same time? Maybe wiring (hopefully someone else has some bright ideas!)?
Is the airbag warning light coming on the one on the dash, or the one in the instrument cluster?
You could always have a peek behind the climate control unit and see if there is any obvious wiring damage...other than that, I would have no clue where to start.
This sounds like its a failing relay internal to the junction block, sorry...
I have had one before where the power to the blower motor and the ORC or OCM (Air bag related, occupant restraint controller or occupant classification module, cannot remember which one off the top of my head), when this relay quits working properly it closes when requested but has poor contact. next time it does it grab something hard (flash light, small hammer, its got to be hard) grab the kick panel up near the top by the steering column shroud and pull back/down and it will tip down, up to the left under there you will see the junction block (has fuses in it) take your hard item and bump this... DONT smash the crap out of it, just tap it on the side, IF everything comes to life its a pretty good indication of an internal connection causing the problem (note I said pretty good not a sure indication). IF you have had a water leak in the life of the vehicle you may want to disconnect the battery and pull the connectors off of it and inspect for water intrusion (rust or other contamination).
I say this because I have dealt with this same problem in a customers car, ultimately they didn't buy the repair so I cannot say 100% but I trust my diagnostics, I verified all my powers and grounds, all my other run/start outputs were functional (leaning away from the ignition switch). I was personally 100% sure of my diagnosis on the WK I worked on but naturally without verifying everything I did on that I couldn't say that for yours.
