you mean transmission. you cant put a transfer in reverse or drive. the noise you are likely hearing is the torque converter in the transmission locking and unlocking. its actually common in our W5A580 transmissions. tho I do think it was resolved in 07
I get this clunking to. People swear it's the diff bushings but I know it's not. Is there an update or something to relieve this issue. It's annoying going around corners. I always knew it was the torque converter.
