Many on here have replaced it themselves. There's a pictoral guide that I followed on either here or JeepForum which goes through a step by step. Pretty straight forward.

I have been having this issue with my insrument cluster turning off randomly and and then coming back on with all of the warning lights that flash briefly. Its almost as if it resets itself like the car was just being started again. Also the blower motor shuts off and the fog lights turn off and back on (when on). Sometimes I would get a CEL. (Cant recall the codes off the top of my head at the moment) I have been into the dealership two times already with know luck. It will be going in tomorrow morning so they can change the fuse box ($500) I have done numerous searches and it seems like some people have had luck with either changing the ignition switch or the light control stalk on the steering column. Im just stumped and dont want to keep throwing parts at it. My battery tested fine. I figured id get the most help coming here. Thanks!
I'm getting the same issues. Started with a Crankshaft position sensor engine code P320, then flashing dash ligts on/off (I find I can replicate this problem if I crank the heat and fan to the max) Other codes that came up where:

P0300 Engine Misfire Detected

The Jeep would buck like crazy when I took it on the highway and even started flashing the engine light. I limped the car home and eventally the problems went away but just the engine light stayed on. The car ran smooth.

I had the Crankshaft senor replaced ($100) no big deal. But the dash lights are still flashing. WTF?

What was your soluion? Ignition switch?

I read review pointing to the (PCM)Power Control Module, could this be the culprit?

Replacing a Ignition switch video:

Its not in English but you'll get the main points on how and what to do.

Cheers!
