2006 5.7 C0700 error?

There's lots of talk of the P0700 error (TCM), but I can't seem to find much on C0700 for hemis. Content mill sites show everything from valve body to head gasket.

I do have (and have had) the common stutter between 40-60 and a little trouble kicking in to high gear to pass on the interstate, but don't believe it's compression since it still tries to squeal off of every red light with the lightest tap.

Any first steps? I did recently have a radiator replaced, and while I babied it in getting it to the shop and stopped to cool before it got in the red, I kind of expected a few problems to ripple throughout the system.

This code is reported by the Power Control Module (PCM) when you scan the PCM. It means the PCM has a code from the Transmission Control Module (TCM). It doesn't give the specific code from the TCM, it just says the TCM has a code. You need a better scanner, one that will read the TCM itself, to receive the actual TCM code.

I kind of wish that was the answer, so that I could get to the bottom of it. Unfortunately it's a (C)hassis code so it shouldn't have anything to do with powertrain unless the engineers were so methodical as to include mount sensors.

I did find two things, however:
1) C0750-C0765 or thereabouts is related to TPMS, and I have had intermittent problems with it blocking my nice compass and te5mp view. But haven't had a code for a single wheel.

2) the codes I get per app are different. I'm using a BAFX BT plug, but only get it from one app.

I think it's kind of funny that ODBII BT sensors work with Android but not Apple... doing so might cause a vortex of proprietary nonsense.
