Hey. Not sure if I am asking this in the correct forum or not so bare with me please. I have a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee 65th anniversary with what I am led to believe is a bad ignition switch. I have picked up said switch and ready to replace it. I am not exactly sure where this switch is located since my ignition is on the dash not the column. Everyone is telling me column for replacing it. The only video I have found about this repair is in Russian. lol not much help there. According the video I basically need to remove the cover from around the ignition lock and the top cover above my instrument panel. Once this is done it looks like I open the access panel under the steering wheel and the switch should be accessible once I remove some torques screws. Is this sounding correct? Just want to check before I tear into my Jeep.
