This sounds odd. Its the TCM (inside the PCM) who commands the shift solenoids, and the related clutches inside the transmission will be pressurized. The transmission itself will not shift up or down.
How did you determine that the "computer" wants something and the transmission did something else

Isn't that odd...I am having . The same with my 2006 Commander and I have felt the same thing as I listed in my own post on the subject.

How do you know what the TCM wants to do? The transmission can only shift gears when commanded by the TCM.
