Unhappy 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Fuse Issue

Hi All, brand new to this forum and to the jeep community. My girlfriend drives a 2007 grand cherokee and recently both of the front cigarette lighters have both stopped working. So thinking it was a fuse issue, i looked up the fuse diagram online by downloading the user's manual (to see which fuse i needed to check). I found the fuses under the steering column (very far in and difficult to access), but the fuses i see do not match the diagram in the owner's manual. not sure if i should just start pulling all the 20 amp fuses and making sure they're all intact, maybe find a broken one and replace that and see if that helps? not sure if i should do this, or what to do if i find all fuses intact.

Appreciate any and all comments for feedback!

Re: 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Fuse Issue

looks like fuses 9 and 14 in the JB (under dash), and fuses 2, 10, and 11 in the PDC (under hood)

Question Re: 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Fuse Issue

thanks for the reply. unfortunately, the numbers on the fuse box inside the jeep under the dash are not numbered. so how do i know that i'm pulling the right fuse?

secondly, and on a related note, i'm not physically able to pull the fuses out of the fuse box because of the angle of my pliers going in; do i really have to remove the front panel just to access these things? seems unnecessary...but i can't get the angle to pull the fuses out straight and can't pull them out otherwise. very frustrating. unless there's a fairly straightforward way to get the front panel off?
