2008 v6 laredo front driveshaft removal

I need to remove my front driveshaft on my 08 laredo v6. Ive seen videos on you tube on how to do this and it seems easy enough. The only thing is if you need to remove the trans crossmember or lower it or what. One video shows removing it no problem but that was a diesel and I thing theres more room than on the 3.7. Another guy lowers the crossmember to make room and another guy removes it. But I think those were v8s. Also lots of videos of guys with libertys doing this but theres a ton of room for removal on them. So my question is, has anyone here ever removed the front shaft on a 3.7 2008-2010, and did you have to do anything with the crossmember, or were you able to just snake it out? I dont want to set it all up for removal and then have to change it all up to remove the crossmember too.

Yeah I normally just pull the crossmember when I replace front drive shafts in 3rd gens 2005-2010 makes alot of room to just drop the shaft straight down.

So, then just support the tranny with something, remove all the bolts and just take it out of the way? Its that simple?
