2009 Overland power FOLDING mirrors

Almost there!!

Right switch?

Found power folding mirrors and new switch for 2009 WK Overland. Mirrors installed, as well as the added wiring installed. But alas the switch (part # 04602789AA) plug does not fit the 2009 Overland.

- What year/ model does 04602789AA fit?
- Ideas?

I thought I read somewhere the power folding mirrors only came in 2007.

Re: 2009 Overland power FOLDING mirrors

Power folding mirrors were standard on 06 Overlands, and I believe they came on some early 07's before being discontinued... in the states anyways. Hope that helps!

Re: 2009 Overland power FOLDING mirrors

try ebay and such. check part numbers.

lots of sellers think they are all the same.

consider painting them so that opens up the options on used ones

car-part.com but you need part numbers to confirm.

Re: 2009 Overland power FOLDING mirrors

Thanks all for the consideration so far.

You are correct.
- US made Overlands did not have the option beyond early 2007.

I have been able to
1) purchase Power Folding mirror in the correct color. They look great.
2) add the additions to the wiring harness to control the new mirrors.
3) problem: the switch?

Found a switch with the right controls (04602789AA) as referenced at the following web site.

http://www.wkjeeps.com/wk_overland_mirrors.htm

.... but alas the connector is different.
Choices:
a) find the right switch.
b) find a male connector which will plug into the switch (part # 04602789AA) ... as well as the wiring diagram to convert from the 2009 wiring harness to the 04602789AA switch.

There must be someone out there with the right info. Worse comes to worse, I buy the wiring diagram for both the 2009 US and European Overland.

Re: 2009 Overland power FOLDING mirrors

Hi.
right now I'm on a stage to put power folding mirrors in to my wk limited 06. today I fitt on a place mirror switch.I had the same plablem with plug like You.I'm from poland and I bought a switch from wh and plug was also different. But I used a knife and plug is connected, and it's working ok. But I still didin't put mirror on and I didn't wired up. Where is the best place to put cable from right to left mirror? Will be somewhere behind the console or maybe under the carpet. Could You Champs to put a photo for me?
Thanks
