2009 WK v6 3.7l shakes and stalls

2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee V6 3.7L with 59k miles.
Recently started shaking and stalling out when i try to start the car.
Only happens once in a while. Usually shakes and stalls out on the first attempt to start the car with rpm under 600, then starts fine on the 2nd attempt. This started after I replaced my starter (starter stopped working about 2 month ago, replaced with a starter from autozone, local dealership didnt have 1 in stock). Could it be that the starter doesn't generate enough power to start the car or could it be a sensor?
I had a similar problem in my 99 WJ, stalled out while driving, changed the cam positioning sensor and it was fine.
I'm thinking it could be the crank positioning sensor, but Im not sure.
Did anything similar ever happen to any of you?
Need some advice from you guys and gals.

I also have an 09 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.7.Yeah try the cam and crankshaft sensor while your down there. Both cheap from autozone. If it was the starter the car would never start. Mine does the same thing but doesn't stall and only does it when it rains

I replaced the cam sensor. Will replace crank sensor in a week or so. I have the sensor at home, just don't have the time to change it. I do however have a problem with the starter, sometimes when it rains, the car doesn't start at all. I can hear the 1 "click" that the starter makes, but doesn't start. I either try again a couple of times or just let it sit for a few minutes and the car starts right up. I thought that the problem might be with the connection, but when I checked, everything was perfect. I have a limited lifetime warranty on the starter from autozone, so when I get a chance, I will bring it back to exchange for a new starter.

I would first check the ground connections between engine block and body. Check for loose connection and/or corrosion at the terminal ends.
