I'm pretty sure the MDS system is picky with regards to necessary conditions before it will activate. If there is a CEL code thrown, that would explain why it didn't enter eco-mode at all.

glad to hear the dealership took care of it for you. i just recently bought a mopar battery and it has a 72 month warranty. i've had my wk hemi for almost 6 years and starter, battery, power steering pump, and brakes is all i've done to it. it has been very reliable.

My next move is a Diablo so that I can disable the MDS completely. It drives me absolutely nuts.

I'm still searching for the right deal on an SRT8 too....LOL!
