2015 wk2 issues

New member with 2015 WK2 Altitude.
26,000 miles.
Dear service has diagnosed lifter tapping with replacement and rockers needing replaced. They have also discovered a leaking casket lower left front of engine. In addition to a intermittent radio screen issue. It randomly goes blank till user interface brings it back.
No real questions just kinda disappointed. I contacted Chrysler and they seem to not think there is anything out of the normal. It is in warranty and is currently at dealer being corrected.
Any suggestions? . Like the style like the car but if it is this messed up so early on then I am thinking I should likely walk away

i would not walk away as long as you have your warranty, jeeps are great i own a few but the new models you will spend the first year or so going back to the dealer seems like when they design them they dont pay much attention to the finished product ,or i should say details.

Nope not walking away running. Getting run around by dealer and by Chrysler Care. It seems" I do not know" is an acceptable answer To simple questions. I give them till Monday and I tow it out as is. Thinking that should get some solid attention. I will begin to post all correspondence and voice transcripts Monday. Jeep is Cheap going to copyright that soon.

I assume your check engine light came on initially or did your jeep start running poorly? I have a 2015 altitude with similar mileage and the check engine light came on recently for 3 days and turned off on its own yesterday. I didn't experience any performance problems or hear any anomalies with the sound of the engine.

By the way I would be pissed if my jeep would need engine work this early on. Although the check engine light is off now, I may still take it to the dealer.

Thanks and I look forward to your updates.

Re: 2015 wk2 issues

no check engine lights just the noise, everything was fine except noise See video to follow.
They replaced a punch of parts. Received jeep back Saturday seems to be running rough. Told it is normal. Have spoken with Chrysler care. Expecting to have a final discussion come Monday. Sadly I like the jeep. Depending on the outcome of pending conversation, I may trade vehicle Monday.
