4.7 ticking

so i threw some sea foam in my 4.7s gas tank today to give her a much needed cleaning, im not sure if its cause of that or i never noticed it but there is a slight ticking that is coming from under the jeep not sure what it is any ideas

Re: 4.7 ticking

more than likely the drivers side exhaust manifold.....bolt breaks, ruins the gasket and you get ticking at cold startup

Re: 4.7 ticking

ya dont need new manifolds...just the gasket and bolt. Check with your dealer...it may be covered

Re: 4.7 ticking

I have a lot of issues to fix with mine... the tick, popping when suspension is under load, whining from rear diff, small vibration on highway, and rough shift from reverse to drive

Re: 4.7 ticking

Will that bushing also cause a popping sound when I put a load on the driveline?
