Re: Abs light, service brake system and 4wd system

no need to reset the system, once it picks the signal up the lamps will go out...

let me see what I can find....

Did you drive it followign the replacement? it wont know the speed sensors are working till you drive it usually in about 100 yds or less the lamps will turn off...

Re: Abs light, service brake system and 4wd system

No I have not I read online that it should recognize the new sensors and shut off. Should I reset anyway and how can I do that. I do not have a code reader?

Re: Abs light, service brake system and 4wd system

I have the same code now, u1418.

I`m not completly sure if this means bad sesors. in fsm it only says
U1418-IMPLAUSIBLE RIGHT WHEEL DISTANCE SIGNAL RECEIVED

maybe its some bad wire in canbus c?

I did measure my abs front right sensor and it got 03.1 Mohm! 3 milions ohms?
I did measure also front left and the same.

so both are bad or what? does measuring resistance can give some info?
I`ve read somewhere that some abs sensors have some electronics and resistance cant be judge if its bad on good.anyone knows if its a good test?

I found some youtube videos that states that abs sensor should have ~450-2000 ohms, and 2 Mohms is bad. some honda was on video...

anyone know what resistance it should have in 2005 wk jeep?
