Actuator problem

Hello Folks I'm new at this so bear with me! I have a 2005 Jeek Grand Cherokee with a slight problem. When I turn on the key and after a few moments there is a "machine gun" sound that lasts for 10 or 15 seconds and then goes away. I think its an actuator and I think its under the dash on the drivers side. But not sure. Anyone know? If so how to change?

Re: Actuator problem

Welcome to the garage.
I would expect an actuator from the airconditioning system. Select them all, one at a time, and see if you can reproduce the sound. (so heat/cold, air to windshield or feet, recirculation or not.)
