Aftermarket HIDs Not Working

I had an HID low-beam kit installed in my 07 Grand Cherokee about 2.5 years ago and I never had any problems with it.

After recently changing the battery the HID headlights stopped working. Iím not sure if there is any connection to the battery change. The headlights were intermittent at first; sometimes turning on right away and sometimes coming on after 5-10 minutes. Now they do not turn on at all.

Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot?

If they were installed using a relay kit (which is the correct way) then you should check the fuse. Look near the battery for a small fuse holder, should be easy to spot being its an aftermarket part. See below circled in red.

It could also be a stuck relay that needs to be replaced... start with the fuse and get back to us

good luck!
