Afternarket Warranty?

Anybody here have an aftermarket car warranty? I should have bought one when I turned over my lease to a purchase years ago. Everything now is out of pocket and I'm curious if a) there is such a thing and b) if it's a good deal.

My rear diff alone was $3,000. Would have almost covered the $4k warranty I was quoted at the dealer.

Re: Afternarket Warranty?

I haven't had a thing go on my jeep that would have been covered by an extended warranty. I was a little nervous when my jeep was at 35,999 miles, but opted to keep a couple grand cash in my pocket and am pleased I didn't give them another dime. It sucked how they came out with lifetime power train warranties the year after i purchased mine.
