Alarm issues

I recently got a auto start for Christmas but everytime the time the car is locked and the alarm is engaged and I turn the auto start on the factory alarm sounds . How do I disable the alarm?

Unfortunately it takes a little bit of work to have an after-market remote starter work with the Jeep's security system.

Did you have it professionally installed? Most of the solutions involve tricking the alarm system into thinking your key is in the ignition (by removing the "chip" in the key and hard-wiring into the ignition system).

I am sure someone who has an aftermarket system will add more specific details.

It appears they left out a module or only used a key bypass module instead of a alarm/key module ...take it back and make them do it right.

Think Outside !- No Box Required.
