Re: bad drive shaft

The local shop here say they can. I'm going to pay them a visit on Saturday.

Re: bad drive shaft

I didn't make it out of bed to get to the shop to have them look at my driveshaft joints due to laziness.

I'll give it a shot next Saturday.

Re: bad drive shaft

*Thread resuscitation*

Found this one in a search and am having the same problem, exact same noise as is in the video. I also recently found out that the rear U-joint is non serviceable and was curious if any of the previous posters ended up replacing the drive shaft? I'll be on the hunt for a new one over the next couple weeks and would love some guidance?

I never got to the bottom of any of this before I put my WK in storage (and I'm loving how it's a 2005 with under 100,000 miles).

Does anybody know if there is a manufacturer that make aftermarket drive shafts with serviceable u-joints?
