brakes squeaking!

When i start to slow down and also when i first start moving something is squeaking very loud.. its obnocouis and im getting the wrong kind of looks when driven around. i think it might be my brakes but i dont know what causes it or how to make it frickn stoP! any help?!!?

Most brake shops will give a free inspection, I'd start there.

Re: brakes squeaking!

Many brake pads will have wear indicators that will squeal to let you know the brake pads are worn. This gives you a warning before the metal on metal grinding (and rotor damage) that occurrs when the pads are finished.

As stated above, take it to a shop to have the brakes inspected, or take a look for yourself.
