So my engine clicks but won't budge when I try to start my car. I knocked at the starter and clicked some wired button that's located right near my handle to open the mask of my car. Got my car to start. I drove it home to get it fixed. I figured it's my started. Replaced that just to find out it's not the case. Anybody have any ideas what it may be?! I have an alarm and remote start. Thinking that may affect it? It's a grand jeep cherokee laredo. Thanks in advanced for the help.

Re: car wont start!!

First of all, is the battery ok?
Could be the starter relay in the PDC. Swap it with an other same relay for a test, before buying a new one.
If the starter relay is ok and if that is the one you hear clicking and the starter is already replaced, then the problem could be with the ground connection from the starter motor wire.

Yes new battery installed. Good thinking I'll have to ask my brother to check out the wiring. Thank you for your help. I rather all here first, than to tow it to a mechanic.
