(less the parking brake light) with my 2005 accompanied by a "light grinding noise coming from underneath. I am going to have it checked out in the morning (29APR2014) and we'll see what they say.

You won't get grinding from any wheel speed sensor issues (though the tranny might stick due to poor info coming to the tranny from the speed sensors). If you hear grinding, depending on where it's located, it's probably the T-case, front/rear diff, or wheel bearings.
I had all the symptoms from the beginning of this thread (minus the e-brake light) and it turned out being my LF ABS wheel speed sensor. Dealer sensor was $40 and I spent about an hour on the replacement. Surface rust made the job a bit of a pain.
