Just like everyone else, my climate control has a burned out bulb and i want to fix the bulb instead of replacing the whole unit. I bought 5mm white LED's from radio shack but i need a resistor. Anyone know the right resistor and if i have the right LED's or not. Also, would i see a color difference if i replace just the lights on the climate control instead of changing the lights throughout the whole center consle? thanks in advance
If you put white leds in there they wont match anything exactly. Send it to diboblo he can match it perfectly and that way the whole thing will be equally illuminated
I was thinking about PMing him but i cant go a day without my climate control, especially during the winter. I also work part time and go to school full time and dont have another car. I figured if i could get all the LEDs to match if i change them all out in the center counsel I could just do that in a few hours and be done with it.
PM Bob... I know I have given him a single zone climate control as a core and he said he already had a couple dual zone climate controls... in this case you could pay him for one he has on hand to be repaired and shipped to you, you would have to work out core charge details.
I also gave him some information centers as cores. He might have cores for everything available. It isnt as simple as just replacing lights with leds, i think bob installed like 10+ leds in my climate control otherwise it would light up correctly
