Clunking drive shaft?
I'm getting a slight clunking noise on acceleration only that seems to be coming from the rear. Originally I thought was bearings going out on my rear diff, but since it's only happening on acceleration and not when cruising, I don't think that's the case. Is it possible the the drive shaft isn't properly aligned or something to that extent? I'd like to go into the shop with at least some guidance so I don't just throw time and money at it. It's not terribly loud. I have to turn the stereo off to hear it. But it's definitely there. Passengers never notice it unless I tell them to listen for it.
