Re: Code reader/scanner

You can pick one up cheap on eBay and hook it up to a computer or phone.

But easiest thing on a WK is to do the "key dance"

Here was a video I made a few years back. It'll tell you all the codes on your information display.

Re: Code reader/scanner

Tried the key dance quite a few times and got nothing....was told that it only shows up codes if you have the engine malfunction light come on....I have the ABS light on and messages in the small EVIC display on the rev counter
Hi Dallas....thanks for the Inovia idea....what model are you useing.....there are quite a few........thanks Steve...
PS after searching found that they not readily available in the UK, but just seen a an Innovia 3150 model that says it reads live abs so ordered one to try..thanks

If you have a smart phone or tablet, get one that works with it and a software package. You can usually get more info than just the basics.
