ESP went on?

on my way home from work this evening (40miles hwy), all of a sudden my ESP went on.. I def. didn't slip on anything.. I was doing 70-75 on the highway on a straighaway... and it just came on... it stayed on for maybe 10 minutes at this point.. pulled into a gas station off my exit.. shut the engine off.. started her back up.. ESP light was still on.. then it went off a few minutes after I was driving again... What would be the reason for that?
Is there a problem with anything??

here's a pic of my dash when the light went on.. (and yes, I know its a little dusty) lol

I know pulling the ABS pump fuse on the SRT8 triggers those lights. Possible ABS problem?

Re: ESP went on?

thanks mongoose... any elaboration on what could be wrong with the ABS?

This has never happened to me before... in fact the only time the ESP kicked on was before my lift, my rear tires were SHOT and turning in gravel, It would kick on.. after my lift and new bigger tires, I slipped out once a bit on the gravel road.. and now come to think of it.. not sure if the ESP even kicked on or not.. i cant remember... but this is the first time i've ever seen it come on in normal driving.. lifted or not.. seems odd that it would come on at all driving 70 down a hwy in the first place.

I can't really say. I'm no expert at it. Possible an abs wheel sensor?

Re: ESP went on?

Welp, I drove it the same trip (40miles hwy) into work this morning and no ESP came on.. and it was raining today.

So hopefully, last night was just some freak accident that tripped it and everything is okay.
