ETC and ESP/TCS CONTROLS

First post! Hello All - Hope I am on the right track here and surely you will let me know if not or I hope so. Own a 2008 Grand Jeep Cherokee Limited. Yesterday while making a Left turn, car would not accellerate. Noticed 2 lights went on - the ESP/TCS indicator and the ETC lights. I pulled over, turned off the ignition and restarted the engine. No lights and able to return home. Read Manual re same and wondering what may be the culprit. Car has very low mileage (15,000 mi). I am a stickler for maintenance and have the oil and all filters changed more than indicated. If anyone has experienced this please let me know how it was corrected. Although it posed no added problems since this occurred yesterday, I do not want to trust it never happening again. Thanks.

Re: ETC and ESP/TCS CONTROLS

Likely a bad throttle body...

Re: ETC and ESP/TCS CONTROLS

It could be the throttle body, or accelerator pedal assembly, or wiring (short, pushed out pin in a connector...) Its hard to say without knowing what codes were set.
