Oh sweet well then I'm glad I damaged it otherwise I wouldn't have known to replace them. Learned quite a bit on this run of work.
Also if anyone reads this and is doing their differential bushings follow the advice that I read:
Cut the ring with a sawzall and then use an air chisel around the lip followed by the center of the bushing to beat them out.
I had both out in less than 5 minutes.
